In a future world ravaged by environmental degradation and resource depletion, technological regression and societal fragmentation have become the new norm.

Under the rule of the elephant-led church, supernatural phenomena, referred to as miracles, randomly appear across the land. These miracles attract a large following to the church and serve as a means for the church to control thoughts.
